Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to lima, peru

As you start on your journey to this vibrant South American city, prepare to discover a rich mix of ancient history and modern city life. Upon arrival at Jorge Chávez International Airport, you will be greeted with warm hospitality by our representative, who will take you to your hotel, where you will find comfortable accommodations that suit the needs of each traveler. Day 2: Lima city tour

A city tour in Lima, the vibrant capital of Peru, promises an enriching journey through history and culture. Embarking on this adventure unveils a remarkable landmark that showcases Lima's proud heritage. The San Francisco Convent is an architectural gem dating back to colonial times. Your next stop will be at the City Hall, exuding grandeur as it serves as both a symbol of civic pride and administrative power. Beyond lies the iconic Government Palace – an opulent edifice where Peruvian presidents have resided since the country's birth. Next to the Government Palace is the Basilica Cathedral at Plaza de Armas—the heart of Lima’s historical center—where architectural marvels intertwine beautifully with religious devotion. Day 3: Cusco arrival

Cusco welcomes you with cobblestone streets, living history, and pure Andean air. You will be picked up at the airport and transferred to your hotel, taking in your first glimpse of this UNESCO World Heritage city. It’s the perfect starting point for exploring Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley, and ancient traditions that remain alive in every corner. We recommend resting and acclimatizing to make the most of your journey.

Day 4: Cusco city tour & 4 archaeological sites

This tour blends the charm of Cusco’s historic center with the grandeur of its Inca heritage. Start at the Cathedral and Qoricancha Temple, then visit four amazing archaeological sites: Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay. Day 5: Sacred valley & overnight in aguas calientes

Day 7: Free day in cusco

This free day in Cusco allows you to explore the city your way. Wander through vibrant markets, visit ancient Inca temples, sample local cuisine, or relax in cozy plazas. Take in the colors, flavors, and stories of this unique Andean city and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Day 8: Sun route – cusco to puno

Travel from Cusco to Puno through the renowned Sun Route, a scenic journey filled with cultural richness. Visit the colonial church of Andahuaylillas, explore the impressive ruins of Raqchi, and uncover the legacy of Pukara. This cultural route connects the past and present across majestic Andean landscapes. Upon arrival in Puno, you’ll be welcomed by the mystical highlands and the spirit of traditional communities that keep their heritage alive.

Day 9: Lake titicaca – uros & taquile islands

Set sail on Lake Titicaca, the world’s highest navigable lake, for a full-day excursion. Visit the floating reed islands of the Uros people, learning about their unique way of life. Continue to Taquile Island, known for its weaving traditions recognized by UNESCO. Enjoy stunning lake views and a traditional Andean lunch. Day 10: Sun island puno to la paz

Start your adventure from Puno, crossing into Bolivia to reach Copacabana. Board a boat to the sacred Sun Island, where you’ll explore Inca stairways, ancient terraces, and the mystical spring of life. After returning to Copacabana, continue overland to La Paz, passing scenic altiplano villages and Lake Titicaca's shores. This full-day journey combines ancient traditions, breathtaking landscapes, and the unique opportunity to cross into Bolivia through one of the most spiritual Andean routes.

Day 11: La paz city tour + moon valley

La Paz, the capital of Bolivia, is a vibrant and enchanting destination that offers a captivating combination of natural wonders and cultural experiences. Located high in the Andes Mountains at an altitude of more than 3,600 m.a.s.l., this city offers visitors breathtaking views and a unique cultural experience. In the afternoon, we will pick you up from your hotel in La Paz and start your tour. We are going to first visit the Valley of the Moon or Valle de la Luna, which is located on the outskirts of the city of La Paz. Then we will visit the main attractions of La Paz such as the city's lifts that will allow you to observe incredible scenes from the air. We will continue with the visit to the Killi Killi Viewpoint, Plaza Murillo, the Witches Market, and the Church of San Francisco. When the day is over, our Gotolatam staff will take you to your hotel in La Paz.

Day 12: Flight to uyuni - uyuni salt flats program day 1

Early in the morning, we will take you from your hotel to La Paz International Airport to take a short flight to Uyuni, where our Gotolatam staff will be waiting for you to start your Uyuni adventure. On the first day of your visit to the Uyuni National Park, you will visit the Uyuni Train Cemetery. Trains and locomotives that in the 19th and 20th centuries transported tons of tin, silver, and other minerals to the ports of the Pacific Ocean but were left alone in the middle of the highlands. The next place to visit in our tour is the Uyuni Salt Desert where you will be amazed by the surrounding places like Uyuni Flag Square, Salt Blocks, Salt Water Eyes, Stairway to Heaven, and the First Salt Hotel in the World, which is now a museum. During this part of the tour, you will have an extended time to take iconic photos of the Salt Mines and the Uyuni Salt Mirror (available in the rainy season). After this day full of adventures, we will drop you off at your hotel in Uyuni where you can have a restful night.

Day 13: Uyuni salt flats program day 2

On this day of your visit to the Uyuni National Park, we will go to the town of San Cristobal and enjoy the impressive views of the Ollagüe Volcano, located almost on the border between Bolivia and Chile. The next stops on your tour are the Hedionda and the Honda Lagoons. We can see wild animals such as the vizcachas next to the Colored Lagoons. When your full-day tour is over, you will be transferred to your hotel in Uyuni for the night.

Day 14: Uyuni salt flats program day 3

Make sure you have your camera charged and ready because today we will visit the Uyuni Colorful Lagoons with hundreds of flamingos in its reddish waters that change color depending on the time of day. You will observe the Red Lagoon and its surroundings with volcanoes and hot springs that flow into this lagoon. The next stops are the Sol de Mañana Geyser and Polques Hot Springs where we can refresh ourselves in its natural-medicinal waters and appreciate the landscape of the place. On the way to the beautiful Dali desert, we will taste a typical Bolivian lunch and then we will take you to your hotel in the Uyuni National Park to spend the night.

Day 15: San pedro de atacama: moon valley & atacama desert landscapes

Day 16: Santiago city tour & san cristóbal hill

Discover Santiago’s vibrant soul on a panoramic city tour through its historic center, colonial landmarks, and modern districts. Walk across Plaza de Armas, see La Moneda Palace, and explore bohemian Bellavista. The highlight is ascending San Cristóbal Hill, where sweeping views reveal the city framed by the majestic Andes. This tour blends culture, history, and breathtaking panoramas, offering a perfect introduction to Chile’s capital. An essential Santiago experience for travelers seeking both tradition and modernity.

Day 17: Santiago departure – end of services

Transfer from your hotel to Santiago’s airport for your departure flight. With this, your Chilean journey comes to an end. Reflect on the diverse landscapes, from desert to Andes, and the cultural richness experienced throughout your stay. Although services end here, the unforgettable memories of Chile will stay with you always.
