Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to rio de janeiro, brazil

Arrival in the Marvelous City of Rio de Janeiro. Upon your arrival at the Rio de Janeiro airport, our representative will be at the airport and escort you to your hotel in Rio. You will have the late afternoon free to rest and try some of the traditional food of Rio de Janeiro and Brazil, as well as acclimatize to the tropical environment that this city offers and its beautiful beaches that are located along the coast of Rio de Janeiro.

Day 2: Full-day corcovado and sugarloaf tour with bbq lunch

Early in the morning, we will start your tour by visiting Corcovado Mountain, one of the Wonders of the World. Corcovado Mountain, located in the vibrant city of Rio de Janeiro, is a true gem that offers visitors an enchanting and inspiring experience with its amazing views, rich history, and iconic Christ the Redeemer statue. On this visit, you are going to have the opportunity to contemplate the best panoramic views with the exuberant nature of Rio de Janeiro, including the Guanabara Bay, the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema, and the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon. The following place to visit in your tour is The Sambadrome. The Sambadrome Marquês de Sapucaí is a stadium built for the main purpose of hosting the parade of Samba Schools in Rio de Janeiro. This parade has an annual frequency and usually takes place during February, bringing the entire city of Rio de Janeiro to a standstill. The next stop is the Sugar Loaf Mountain which is a majestic natural landmark that towers over the amazing city of Rio de Janeiro, famous for its breathtaking panoramic views. The Sugar Loaf iconic mountain is a must-see destination for any traveler looking to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of this vibrant city. Another place that you will be able to visit during your full-day tour is The Metropolitan Cathedral which is a pyramid-shaped building. The next place you will visit is the traditional Cinelândia Square where The Municipal Theater, the National Library, and the Assembly Building are located. When all the visits finish, you will enjoy a BBQ lunch before taking you back to your hotel in Rio de Janeiro.

Day 3: Iguazu falls tour – brazilian side and bird park

Early in the morning, your tour of the Brazilian side of the Iguazu Falls will start with breathtaking panoramic views of the falls around the Iguazu National Park. You will have the opportunity to take a walk through the trails to appreciate the landscapes out of this world. The next place to visit on this day is the Bird Park located in the Iguazu National Park, where you will find a large number of birds in danger of extinction. This sanctuary protects the birds from illegal trafficking and keeps them in giant aviaries. When your visit ends, you will be taken back to your hotel in Puerto Iguazu.

Day 4: Argentina falls & the great boat trip

Explore the trails and walkways on the Argentine side of Iguazú Falls, home to most of the cascades, including the iconic Devil’s Throat. Immerse yourself in the lush Misiones jungle and finish the day with the Grand Boat Adventure. Navigate the Iguazú River’s rapids, get close to San Martín and Tres Mosqueteros waterfalls, and feel the thrill of the exhilarating “baptism” under the cascading waters, surrounded by breathtaking scenery and vibrant rainforest life.

Day 5: Depart from iguazu falls & welcome to buenos aires

In the morning, we will take you to Foz de Iguazu Airport to take a flight to Buenos Aires.

Day 6: Buenos aires city tour and tango show

A Magical half day tour in Buenos Aires starts with a visit to the most iconic buildings in the city: The National Congress (Parliament), the Civic Center that includes the Plaza de Mayo, surrounded by the Government House – most known as ¨Casa Rosada¨, the Metropolitan Cathedral and Colon Theater which is one of the best Opera Houses in the world. Your Buenos Aires city tour continues with a visit to the traditional neighborhood of San Telmo and the worldwide known Italian neighborhood of La Boca where we are going to have a short stop to take photos of the neighborhood, Caminito La Boca, and the stadium. Then we will head to the modern area of Buenos Aires where you will be able to visit Puerto Madero, the neighborhood of Palermo that is full of colorful gardens, parks, and small forests in the heart of Buenos Aires. We will finish our Buenos Aires city tour with a visit to The Recoleta Cultural Center, recognized for its cultural and artistic events that bring together a large part of the young people who live in the city of Buenos Aires. At night, you are going to attend a tango show at La Ventana restaurant which is an iconic Buenos Aires restaurant with more than 40 years of serving the most delicious Argentinean food and wines followed by a passionate and seductive dance form known as tango.

Day 7: Flight to el calafate

Embark on your journey to El Calafate, the starting point for discovering iconic glaciers and Patagonia’s tranquil beauty. At the scheduled time, you will be picked up at your lodging and taken to the airport; upon arrival, your transfer to the hotel will be arranged. During this trip, admire the changing scenery: endless steppe, blue lakes, and mountains foreshadowing unforgettable days surrounded by pure nature and adventure in its raw, breathtaking Patagonian form.

Day 8: Perito moreno excursion and the nautical safari boat trip

On this day you will visit Los Glaciares National Park and its main attraction, Perito Moreno Glacier. First, we are going to cross over the main body of the Argentino Lake and reach the Rico arm as we enter into Los Glaciares National Park to descend at "Curva de los Suspiros" to observe the Perito Moreno Glacier for the first time. Then you are going to have a second stop at Bajo Las Sombras Dock to appreciate the Perito Moreno Glacier wall, here there are walkways so you can see the glacier from different perspectives and take outstanding photos. After your tour finishes, our Gotolatam staff will transfer you to your hotel in Calafate.

Day 9: Flight buenos aires to lima

Board an international flight from Buenos Aires to Lima, the capital of Peru. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy free time to acclimate. Known as the “City of Kings,” Lima combines colonial architecture, modern flair, and one of the world’s most acclaimed gastronomic scenes, offering a perfect introduction to Peru.

Day 10: Lima city tour

A city tour in Lima, the vibrant capital of Peru, promises an enriching journey through history and culture. Embarking on this adventure unveils a remarkable landmark that showcases Lima's proud heritage. The San Francisco Convent is an architectural gem dating back to colonial times. Your next stop will be at the City Hall, exuding grandeur as it serves as both a symbol of civic pride and administrative power. Beyond lies the iconic Government Palace – an opulent edifice where Peruvian presidents have resided since the country's birth. Next to the Government Palace is the Basilica Cathedral at Plaza de Armas—the heart of Lima’s historical center—where architectural marvels intertwine beautifully with religious devotion. The tour continues into the Miraflores district with its breathtaking coastal views and finalizes at Barranco, known as a cosmopolitan and cultural district.

Day 11: Amazon experience 3d/2n - day 1

The journey begins in Puerto Maldonado with a 25-minute boat ride to Hacienda Concepción lodge. A guided walk along the Trail System introduces the wonders of the rainforest and its unique biodiversity. At nightfall, the Twilight River excursion offers an unforgettable experience: navigating beneath a starry sky, surrounded by the symphony of nocturnal wildlife, creating an authentic and magical first encounter with the heart of the Peruvian Amazon.

Day 12: Amazon experience 3d/2n - day 2

The second day provides a deep immersion into Amazonian biodiversity. A jungle walk leads to Lake Sandoval, home to monkeys, giant otters, and tropical birds. Later, the Canopy Walkway offers a unique chance to explore the rainforest canopy from elevated bridges with spectacular views. Finally, the Hidden Forest excursion transforms the experience: a nighttime walk that unveils a different, vibrant, and mysterious side of the jungle that only awakens under the stars.

Day 13: Amazon experience 3d/2n - day 3 & flight to cusco

The third day marks the conclusion of this Amazonian journey. After a breakfast surrounded by the sounds of the forest, the return begins with a boat ride to Puerto Maldonado, followed by a bus transfer to the airport. Though brief, the stay leaves unforgettable memories: river reflections, endless landscapes, and the jungle’s magic accompanying travelers even beyond the trip. An authentic experience that deeply connects with nature’s essence.

Day 14: Full-day tour to the sacred valley and overnight in aguas calientes

After an early breakfast at your hotel in Cusco, a Gotolatam representative will pick you up to start your Sacred Valley tour. The first stop will be the City of Pisac, a small town with exquisite architecture that is the perfect place to buy authentic Andean souvenirs, known as artesanias. As you browse through the selection of traditional clothing and handicrafts, you'll easily understand why the Pisac market has a reputation of its own. In the afternoon, you will visit Ollantaytambo, which is an Inca site that began as a palace or fortress but was eventually used as the last Inca stronghold against the invading Spanish conquistadors. After an exciting day of archaeological exploration, you will board the train to Machu Picchu town – known as Aguas Calientes – at the Ollantaytambo train station. Upon your arrival in Aguas Calientes, a representative of Gotolatam will be waiting for you at the Aguas Calientes train station to take you to your hotel.

Day 15: Visit to machu picchu and return to cusco

¡The main day of your trip! Be ready to visit the Citadel of Machu Picchu. Our representative will pick you up from your hotel to escort you to the Aguas Calientes Bus Station for a 30-minute bus ride to the Citadel of Machu Picchu, where you are going to have a private guided tour of the citadel. During your tour, you will be able to visit historical places located in the Citadel of Machu Picchu, like the Sun Stone, Sun Temple, and the Room of the Three Windows. After your tour finishes, you will have some free time to explore Aguas Calientes, buy some local artesanias, and enjoy an amazing view of Machu Picchu town. Late in the afternoon, you will board the train from Aguas Calientes Train Station to Ollantaytambo Train Station, where a vehicle will be ready to take you back to your hotel in Cusco.

Day 16: Cusco city tour & 4 archaeological sites

This tour blends the charm of Cusco’s historic center with the grandeur of its Inca heritage. Start at the Cathedral and Qoricancha Temple, then visit four amazing archaeological sites: Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay. Day 17: Cusco – end of services
