Day 1: Arrival in santiago / transfer to hotel

Arrive in Santiago, Chile’s dynamic capital nestled between the Andes and the Pacific Ocean. After airport assistance, enjoy a comfortable transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax or begin exploring Santiago at your own pace. From vibrant neighborhoods to panoramic viewpoints, this city is the perfect introduction to Chile. Rest well tonight as your adventure through deserts, vineyards, Patagonia, and mysterious Easter Island begins.

Day 2: Santiago city tour & san cristóbal hill

Discover Santiago’s vibrant soul on a panoramic city tour through its historic center, colonial landmarks, and modern districts. Walk across Plaza de Armas, see La Moneda Palace, and explore bohemian Bellavista. The highlight is ascending San Cristóbal Hill, where sweeping views reveal the city framed by the majestic Andes. This tour blends culture, history, and breathtaking panoramas, offering a perfect introduction to Chile’s capital. Day 3: Flight to calama – transfer to san pedro de atacama / moon valley tour

Fly north to Calama and transfer through striking desert scenery to San Pedro de Atacama. In the afternoon, embark on a guided excursion to the otherworldly Moon Valley. Towering sand dunes, salt caverns, and sculpted rock formations create a surreal landscape illuminated by the fiery desert sunset. This breathtaking experience offers a first taste of the Atacama Desert’s dramatic beauty, a land of silence, vast horizons, and starlit skies unlike anywhere else on Earth.

Day 4: Atacama salt flats & altiplanic lagoons + toconao

Discover the otherworldly beauty of the Atacama Desert on a full-day excursion. Visit the shimmering Atacama Salt Flats, home to pink flamingos and endless horizons, then ascend to the high-altitude Altiplanic Lagoons, where turquoise waters reflect the Andes. Stop at the charming village of Toconao, famous for its stone architecture and crafts. This tour reveals the stunning contrasts of Chile’s desert landscapes, making it an unmissable experience for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts.

Day 5: Uyuni salt flats program 4d/3n - day 1: san pedro de atacama – hito cajón – desert

Pick up from your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama and transfer to the Hito Cajón border. Visit Laguna Blanca and the viewpoint of Licancabur Volcano with Laguna Verde. Continue to Salvador Dalí Rocks, Polques Hot Springs (38°C), Morning Sun Geysers, Laguna Colorada with flamingos, the Siloli Desert, and the Stone Tree. Overnight in desert accommodation. Included: Private 4x4 Jeep, Spanish-speaking driver, entrance fees, lunch, dinner.

Day 6: Uyuni salt flats program 4d/3n - day 2: desert – uyuni

Breakfast at the hotel. Today’s route covers the Andean lagoons: Cañapa, Hedionda, Honda, Chiarcota, and Ramaditas, all home to flamingos. Visit the viewpoint of Ollagüe Volcano (5,865m), an active stratovolcano showing fumarolic activity. Marvel at stark volcanic landscapes, high Andean plateaus, and wildlife before heading to Uyuni. Overnight at hotel. Included: Private 4x4 Jeep, Spanish-speaking driver, entrance fees, lunch, dinner.

Day 7: Uyuni salt flats program 4d/3n - day 3: uyuni – villa mar

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning visit to Uyuni’s Train Cemetery, followed by Colchani village to observe salt processing and handicrafts. Enter the salt flat to see salt heaps, water eyes, Dakar monument, world flags plaza, and the first salt hotel. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the salt flat, then explore Isla Incahuasi with giant cacti. Return via San Cristóbal. Included: Private 4x4 Jeep, Spanish-speaking driver, entrance fees, lunch, dinner. Note: Isla Incahuasi accessible only in dry season (Apr–Nov).

Day 8: Uyuni salt flats program 4d/3n - day 4: uyuni – la paz city tour

Breakfast at the hotel. Private transfer to Uyuni Airport and flight to La Paz. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a private city tour including highlights such as Plaza Murillo, the Witches’ Market, San Francisco Church, and the scenic viewpoints of this high-altitude city surrounded by the Andes. Overnight in La Paz. Included: Private transfers, flight (not included in services), private guide for city tour.

Day 9: La paz city tour + moon valley

La Paz, the capital of Bolivia, is a vibrant and enchanting destination that offers a captivating combination of natural wonders and cultural experiences. Located high in the Andes Mountains at an altitude of more than 3,600 m.a.s.l., this city offers visitors breathtaking views and a unique cultural experience. In the afternoon, we will pick you up from your hotel in La Paz and start your tour. We are going to first visit the Valley of the Moon or Valle de la Luna, which is located on the outskirts of the city of La Paz. Then we will visit the main attractions of La Paz such as the city's lifts that will allow you to observe incredible scenes from the air. We will continue with the visit to the Killi Killi Viewpoint, Plaza Murillo, the Witches Market, and the Church of San Francisco. When the day is over, our Gotolatam staff will take you to your hotel in La Paz.
