Day 1: Arrival in cartagena – transfer to hotel

Arrive in Cartagena and transfer to your hotel. Take the rest of the day to relax and start enjoying the charm of Colombia’s Caribbean coast.

Day 2: Cartagena city tour (chiva “la remilgosa”)

Explore Cartagena aboard the iconic Chiva bus “La Remilgosa.” Enjoy a fun and cultural city tour that highlights the beauty and history of this Caribbean gem.

Day 3: Cartagena – full-day excursion to rosario islands

Day 4: Cartagena – free day for beach or cultural activities

Enjoy a free day in Cartagena. Relax at the beach, stroll through the Old Town, or take part in optional cultural activities and excursions.

Day 5: Flight cartagena – medellín – visit to pueblito paisa & comuna 13

Fly to Medellín and explore two of its highlights: Pueblito Paisa, a replica of a traditional Antioquian town, and Comuna 13, famous for its street art and inspiring history of transformation.

Day 6: Full-day tour of the guatape mountain

Today, you will have the chance to explore Medellin's rural surroundings. Enjoy incredible views of the undulating hills and greenery on your way towards the Peñol of Guatape, one of the most spectacular destinations in the surrounding area of Medellín. The 200-meter-high monolith can be climbed by a staircase of 740 steps. Enjoy breathtaking views over the stunning green mountains and blue lakes. From there, continue to the village of Guatape. The settlement is famous for its church and the beautiful, colorful paintings that decorate the houses. Once your tour finishes, we will take you back to your hotel in Medellin.

Day 7: Flight medellín – bogotá

Take a flight to Bogotá, Colombia’s vibrant capital. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy free time to explore the city at your leisure.

Day 9: Flight bogotá – lima

Day 10: Lima city tour

A city tour in Lima, the vibrant capital of Peru, promises an enriching journey through history and culture. Embarking on this adventure unveils a remarkable landmark that showcases Lima's proud heritage. The San Francisco Convent is an architectural gem dating back to colonial times. Your next stop will be at the City Hall, exuding grandeur as it serves as both a symbol of civic pride and administrative power. Beyond lies the iconic Government Palace – an opulent edifice where Peruvian presidents have resided since the country's birth. Day 11: Flight lima – cusco / cusco city tour

After arrival and transfer to your hotel, begin acclimatizing with a guided city tour. Discover the Plaza de Armas, the majestic Cathedral, and Qorikancha—the Temple of the Sun. Day 12: Sacred valley – pisac, ollantaytambo + inca rail train to machu picchu

Continue to Ollantaytambo, one of the last living Inca towns, where massive stone terraces guard the valley. Day 13: Sacred valley – pisac, ollantaytambo + inca rail train to machu picchu

Begin your journey through the Sacred Valley with a visit to the colorful Pisac Market and the impressive Inca ruins overlooking the town. Continue to Ollantaytambo, one of the last living Inca towns, where massive stone terraces guard the valley. Day 14: Machu picchu tour & return to cusco

Day 17: Flight to lima & departure

Your final day in Peru begins with a free morning to relax or reflect on your journey. You’ll then be transferred to the airport for your flight to Lima. From above, shifting landscapes frame this last stretch, adding a memorable close to your trip. Once in the capital, there will be enough time to connect with your international flight. This final day marks the conclusion of a journey filled with history, culture, and meaningful experiences.
